Pilothouse / Salon
Central to the design of our trawler is the combined Salon/Pilothouse that is on the same level as the cockpit making it a natural extension of the cockpit area.
The entrance to the salon is through a single front entrance sliding door which is mounted on three tracks. The door slides to port and whether in open or closed position great visibility is provided.
The main path through the salon and galley is slightly off to starboard and runs directly into the galley.
There is a raised L-shaped settee to port that offers great views when seated at the table. Underneath the port side settee bench you can find well ventilated storage.
The salon is finished with quality hardwood sides, and offers exposed wood beams in the overhead for a classic look.
To starboard, is a compact steering console that offers everything you need for operation of the vessel, including a helmsman seat on a pedestal that will make steering this boat for long stretches comfortable.
On the console is room for the included Betamarine or Yanmar engine panel, an optional 8-9 inch chartplotter, the included speed/depth log and the optional autopilot control.
From the helm you have excellent visibility around about 270 degrees. The wheel is at the right height to enable comfortable manual steering whether seated or standing.
The helm seat can swivel sideways which allows it to be used as general seating in the salon as well.
On the side of the steering console is the access door to the electric panels. Here you can turn the master battery switch, and toggle the circuits on the 12V and the 120V panel, and there is access to the four bilge pump switches.
Also provided are plenty of stainless hand holds in key locations.
